The Knaresborough Anglican Team Ministry

Our five churches -  St John the Baptist and Holy Trinity in Knaresborough, St John the Baptist at Brearton, St Mary's at Goldsborough, St Paul & St Margaret at Nidd - offer a rich variety of Anglican worship, from family friendly All-Age worship, through the richness of Common Worship to the traditional language of the Book of Common Prayer.

Each church is pleased to share in the life of its local community whilst participating in the wider life of the parish as well.

We - the Rector and congregations - aim to be available to all who live in the area, without distinction and with an inclusive pastoral heart.

We are committed to sharing the good news of Jesus Christ, and increasingly our foccus is upon the mission of the Church. So this is our prayer:

God of Mission
Who alone brings growth to your Church,
Send your Holy Spirit to give
Vision to our planning,
Wisdom to our actions,
And power to our witness.
Help our church to grow in numbers,
In spiritual commitment to you,
And in service to our local community,
Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
